Roofing lead coverage by state

We cover the whole country. You do not pick a state, a region or a list of ZIP codes, you enter one ZIP code and we cover your radius, 25 to 100 miles. These pages are here so you can see what that looks like where you work.

Which states do you sell roofing leads in?

All fifty states and the District of Columbia. You order by one ZIP code and a radius of 25 to 100 miles around it, not by state, so the state page is a starting point rather than the unit you buy. Each one carries that state’s own hail and wind counts from NOAA.

What does each state page tell you?

Each state page carries that state’s own hail and wind counts from NOAA for the last two complete years, so you can see when roof demand there peaks, and, on every state but Hawaii, a plain answer on whether the state licenses roofing contractors, taken from an official state source and dated. Hawaii has none because no official source could be confirmed.

Every state page carries that state’s own hail and wind counts from NOAA, so you can see when roof demand there actually peaks. For what leads cost across the market, see the 2026 roofing lead price guide.

Every state side by side: hail and wind damage by state ranks all 51 on hail, hail an inch or larger, damaging wind and tornadoes for the last two complete years, from the same NOAA counts these pages quote one at a time.

Where does roofing demand actually come from?

Storms, and not evenly. NOAA logged 9,203 hail reports across the 51 states in 2025, and 41% of them fell in five: Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Colorado. May is one of the two busiest hail months in 27 of the 51, which is earlier in the year than most crews staff for.

That is why each state page opens with its own counts rather than a shared sentence about weather. A market that logged a handful of hail reports last year and one that logged 1,453 are not the same business, and a lead price that works in one may not work in the other.

What should you read before buying in a new state?

Seven buyer guides sit behind the two products, each sourced and each with a markdown mirror. They cover what leads cost across the market, what a booked job costs at your own close rate, how a $5 list compares with a $150 inbound call, and what the law expects of you once you have the list.

Do you need a licence to roof in these states?

It depends which one, and the answer is on its page. Of the 50 states confirmed so far, 23 require a state licence covering roofing, 15 take a registration instead, and 12 leave it to city and county building departments. Every answer cites an official state source and carries the date it was read.

All 50 are side by side in roofing license requirements by state. We sell contact data and do not check whether a buyer holds the credential their state requires, so that is yours to confirm before you bid.
